Missing Westbrook man found


UPDATE: Police say Herman Bosse has been found. No other information was released.

WESTROOK, Maine (WGAN) Police have issued a silver alert for an elderly Westbrook man that has gone missing.

Police say Herman Bosse’s family last spoke to him on Monday.  They tried to contact him on Tuesday, but he did not answer his phone.  When they went to check on him, they found his apartment empty and his vehicle was gone.

Police say the 87-year-old was recently in the hospital for some health issues and has the starting stages of dementia.

Bosse is described as being 5-foot-11, 170 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes.

Police say his car is a 2007 gray Honda Accord with Maine license 8759-ME.
