Skier Hospitalized from Injuries on Black Mountain Near Rumford

The Black Mountain ski resort near Rumford says its hearts and prayers are with the family of the young ski racer who was injured Sunday morning.

The person was injured while skiing on the Allagash trail at the resort.

They say the skier was first taken to the patrol room and was then taken by ambulance to a hospital in Rumford.

The young skier’s condition has not been released.

Black Mountain has not released any further information.
