South Paris woman seriously injured in head-on crash with tractor-trailer

A head-on crash involving a tractor-trailer in Oxford County left a woman seriously injured.

The Oxford County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened near 201 South Main Street, or Route 26, Wednesday morning.

Police said the 45-year-old South Paris woman crossed the centerline and hit the tractor-trailer head-on. She suffered serious injuries and was LifeFlighted to Maine Medical Center in Portland.

The truck driver suffered minor injuries.

The crash is still under investigation.
