South Portland Police are looking for a car they think is connected to a shooting late Sunday night in the Redbank Village area.

Around 11 p.m. Sunday night, police got several calls about shots fired in Redbank Village.

Officers were called in and found an apartment on Wainwright Circle West hit by several gunshot bullets, with some going through the front door and into the living room wall.

Shell casings were also found in the street near the home. There were no injuries.

Police identified a car they think is connected to the shooting after canvassing for witnesses and reviewing security camera footage. The vehicle is a light colored 4-door hatchback.

South Portland Police are asking anyone with information to contact Detective Lieutenant Christopher Todd at 207-799-5511 Ext. 7448 (christo@southportland.gov). People can also leave an anonymous tip, as always, at 207-347-4100.

Police are currently not releasing any further information.
