South Portland Police have detained a juvenile who they say was previously arrested for making a threat against South Portland High School.

Officials said the juvenile was detained Thursday for violating conditions of release and is being held at Long Creek Youth Development Center.

The juvenile was arrested in April for making threats against multiple targets, including South Portland High School. He was released by court order under certain conditions, which he has since violated, according to police.

The juvenile is facing charges for Terrorizing, Criminal Solicitation and Arson.

A detention hearing was scheduled for Friday afternoon.
