A bomb threat at a school in Gray on Friday prompted a police response for the second time this month.

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office says a suspicious note was found by a student on a bathroom wall at Gray-New Gloucester Middle School around 11 a.m. Friday.

Students and staff were evacuated while police searched the building. No bombs or explosive devices were found.

Police say the investigation into the note is ongoing, and that they’re working with the school to determine who was responsible.
