Suspect Arrested in Massachusetts in Connection to Bangor Death

A Man suspected of killing a woman in Bangor is now behind bars.

The woman was found dead at her home Wednesday by police after a co-worker reported she had not arrived at work.

Yesterday, the Medical Examiner in Augusta determined the manner of her death to be homicide.

A widespread investigation was then launched with the state office of the Attorney General.

As a result, Richard Keith Thorpe of Bangor, was tracked down in Pittsfield, Massachusetts early this morning and arrested in connection with the woman’s death.

Police have not released any further information on the case.
