Police say a man was intoxicated when he flipped his ATV in Millinocket and then threatened responding officers.

Police say they responded to a convenience store on Central St. after an intoxicated man flipped his ATV over in the parking lot.

CBS 13 reports that the suspect was identified as 40-year-old Derrick Sirois of Millinocket.

Police say he left the scene, but was spotted operating his ATV recklessly at a high rate of speed on Central street.

An officer followed the ATV tracks and the suspect was found hiding behind an apartment building.

Police say he threatened officers, and while being transported to jail, they say he urinated inside the police cruiser.

He faces a long list of charges and already had a warrant out for his arrest for failing to appear on a previous charge.
