Teenager wanted for Naples shooting arrested in Portland

The 18-year-old accused in a shooting that injured one person during a 4th of July celebration in Naples has been taken into custody.

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office says Alexander Goodwin was arrested on Park Avenue in Portland around 2:30 p.m. Thursday.

Goodwin was accused in the shooting on the Naples Causeway that sent a teenager to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries Tuesday evening.

Goodwin was taken into custody without incident and brought to Cumberland County Jail. He was charged with elevated aggravated assault and reckless conduct.
