Three Arrested After Drug Raid in Brewer

BREWER, Maine (WGAN)  The Brewer Police Department says three people have been arrested after a drug bust in town.

Police say Tuesday evening, they executed a pair of search warrants at a North Main Street apartment complex.  It was related to an ongoing investigation into heroin and cocaine trafficking in Brewer.

Police say as a result of the raid, 19-year-old Shawn Robinson from Brooklyn, New York and 48-year-old Floyd Chase from Brewer were charged with aggravated trafficking.

Police say Robinson was also armed with a loaded handgun and additional firearms charges are pending.

Police arrested a third man, 25-year-old Alexander Moeleon from Bangor for multiple arrest warrants.

Police say their investigation is ongoing and more charges are expected.
