Three people have injuries from a crash in Kennebunk Tuesday afternoon, including one described as having to be “cut” from a car.

Kennebunk Fire-Rescue says the crash took place on Fletcher Street before a roundabout, and likely involved a driver with a medical emergency.

They say the driver of the car was trapped inside, and had to be cut from the vehicle before being taken to the trauma center in Portland.

Two other people was taken to a hospital from the crash.

Kennebunk Fire-Rescue did not disclose the condition of those injured.

They did ask that drivers not drive around emergency road closures. They said Kennebunk Fire Rescue and the Kennebunk Police Department are seeing a concerning increase in motorists driving around police cars, fire apparatus, cones, flares, and other roadway closures at emergency scenes.

Kennebunk Fire-Rescue described the driving behavior as not only dangerous, but illegal
