Three Arrested for Trying to Steal Shed

LEBANON, Maine (WGAN)  Three people have been arrested for trying to steal a shed in Lebanon.

State Police say on Sunday, a concerned citizen called them, reporting three men had stolen a shed from a foreclosed property on Pork Street and were dragging it down the road using a pick-up truck.

Police say troopers arrived on scene, finding the shed in the middle of Heath Road, blocking half the road.

Police say Matthew Thompson from Lebanon and Timothy James and Robert Breton from New Hampshire were all arrested on charges including theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

Police say Thompson was also in possession of crystal meth and prescription pills and picked up added charges.

All three were taken to York County Jail and were being held on $5,000 bail.
