Three cars stolen and many others broken into in Westbrook

WESTBROOK (WGME) — Police in Westbrook say three cars have been stolen and multiple others have been burglarized over the past three days.

They say the cars that were stolen were unlocked and had keys inside.

Many personal items such as credit cards, drivers licenses and checks have been stolen among other things.

Westbrook Police is urging residents to lock their doors and remove keys from their cars.

Police say they are investigating and no further information is being released at this time.
