WATERVILLE, Maine (WGAN) Three people have been charged in a robbery and assault reported in Waterville.

Waterville police said the robbery was reported a day later, on Wednesday, but happened Tuesday evening.

Police said 39-year-old Jessica Green and 40-year-old Robert Bishop had been threatening a 63-year-old man who lives on Redington Street. They told him they would let him keep living there if he paid them, but they don’t own or manage the building.

The pair, along with a third man, Michael Dicent, then assaulted the man and took his wallet, according to investigators.

The man was treated and released from the hospital.

All three will appear in court in Augusta on May 11th.
