Police say three people are dead and one person is in the hospital after a two-vehicle crash in Paris Friday evening on Route 26.
Paris police chief Michael Dailey told our news partners at CBS 13 that it’s likely one vehicle traveling south lost control and crashed into the other vehicle in the northbound lane.
Police say the crash occurred around 5:20 p.m.
The three people who died were in the same car.
The person injured was in a separate vehicle and has serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
Dailey says they are investigating whether alcohol or speeding could have been a factor.
