Three People Are Arrested in a Drug Bust in the Town of Bradford

The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office made three drug related arrests during a routine traffic stop in Bradford, Saturday.

The deputy who made the stop, found that the driver, 36-year-old Nicholas Mitchell of Bangor was allegedly operating with a suspended license and was subject to active bail conditions.

The deputy on probable cause searched Mitchell’s vehicle found a significant amount of drugs, including over 120 grams of Methamphetamine, nearly 15 grams of Fentanyl and about 6 grams of Crack Cocaine.

Mitchell and two other passengers, 63-year-old Wilbur Babb of Alton and 47-year-old Jennifer Worotnik of Bangor, were arrested and charged on multiple drug counts.

The investigation remains on going and additional charges may be forthcoming.
