Three Suffer Non-Life Threatening Injuries After Monday Morning Crash in Windham

WINDHAM, Maine (WGAN) A head-on crash on Roosevelt Trail, or Route 302, in Windham on Monday morning sent two women to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Windham Police Say 49-year-old Lisa Galipeau of Windham crossed into the eastbound lane in her vehicle, striking 48-year-old Tracy Silva, who was driving a Subaru Legacy, around 7:00am. Both are recovering at Maine Medical Center. A passenger in Galipeau’s vehicle, 33-year-old Amanda Campbell, was also transported for minor injuries.

Roosevelt Trail was closed to traffic for about 2 and a half hours while a reconstruction team investigated the accident.

Police don’t believe speed or alcohol played a factor. The crash is still under investigation.
