A Maine camp will receive a donation for more than $1 million on Monday.

The money from restaurant chain Tropical Smoothie Cafe is going to Camp Sunshine in Casco.

The camp said the donation will be used to offer a free year-round retreat on Sebago Lake for children with life-threatening illnesses. The Tropical Smoothie Cafe Sports Center will also be opened.

The Portland Press Herald reports the donation of $1,011,000 is the most money the camp has ever received from a single donor.
