Truck Crashes on I-95 in Etna


ETNA, Maine (WGAN)  A tractor trailer hauling frozen potatoes overturned along Interstate 95 in Etna this morning.

The southbound lane at mile 167 has been reduced to one lane at the crash site. The crash took place about 9:30 AM.

Troopers said the driver – 55 year old Donald Greenwood of Ellsworth – was not injured.

Crews were off loading the potatoes early this afternoon.

Troopers said Greenwood may have been overcorrected, causing the truck to overturn off the breakdown lane.
