AUBURN, Maine (WGAN) Police in Auburn say a woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Tuesday night.

Police say it happened around 9:20 p.m.

Officers responded to the area of Turner Road and Fair Street. 25-year-old Jessica Faunce of Turner had been travelling north on Turner Road when her sedan left the road, hitting a utility pole and a tree. She was taken to Central Maine Medical Center where she later died

Police say speed does not appear to be a factor, but the crash is still under investigation.
