Two Arrested on Various Charges in Waterboro

WATERBORO, Maine (WGAN)  Two people have been arrested in Waterboro.

The York County Sheriff’s Office says they learned 43-year-old Heather Fields was going to be at a home in Waterboro on Thursday night.  Police say the Old Orchard Beach woman was being sought on several warrants.

Police say they found Fields hiding in the residence.  She was arrested for three warrants for failure to appear for a theft charge, as well as failure to appear on violating conditions of release.

Police say Fields also has a warrant for failure to appear for a theft charge in Cumberland County.

Deputies say while they were at the residence, they also found 53-year-old Michael Legassie hiding on the roof.  He was on probation and was arrested for hindering apprehension.

Both are expected to have arraignment by video Friday.
