Two Injured in Portland Crash

PORTLAND, Maine (WGAN) Portland Police are investigating a single car crash that left two people seriously injured.

Police say Sunday morning around 1:30 a.m., a grey 2007 BWM crashed on Congress St.  The car left the road and hit a stone wall, according to police.

Police say the 23-year-old driver and his passenger, a 25-year-old woman, have both been hospitalized with significant injuries.

Police have not released the victims names.

They say the accident remains under investigation and anyone that may have witnessed it should call police at (207) 874-8532 or (207) 874-8575.
