Two juveniles charged with setting pair of fires in Winterport


Police say two juveniles are accused of setting fire to a garage in Winterport.

Shannon Moss with the Maine State Police says the Fire Marshal’s office responded to a garage fire on Lower Oak Point Road in the early morning on June 28th. The garage, which had three vehicles inside of it at the time, including two antique cars, was destroyed.

Police say the two juveniles are also responsible for setting fire to a nearby abandoned residence the same day.
