Two Killed, Others Hurt In Sabattus Crash

Two people were killed and three others were hurt in a wreck near the Sabattus-Wales town line Monday morning, according to police.

Police say a car with four people inside crashed into a beverage truck that was unloading off route 126 at Oak Hill Cash Market.

CBS 13 reports the driver of the car and a rear passenger were killed in the accident.

Another passenger was seriously hurt and the fourth passenger suffered minor injuries.

The driver of the truck was hurt in the wreck but is expected to be okay.

The names of the victims have not been released.

Police say they were members of the Somali community in Lewiston.
