STANDISH (WGAN) — After stealing multiple pieces of mail from mailboxes in Standish early Sunday morning, two Mainers face multiple charges.

Our news partners at CBS 13 report that 29 year old Robert Fusillo of Sebago was charged with theft and criminal mischief. Also charged was 31-year-old Angela Cunningham of Buxton. She was charged with theft, criminal mischief, possession of schedule ‘Z’ and ‘W’ drugs, and trafficking prison contraband.

The incident was reported around 2:30 AM, and deputies from the Cumberland County Sherriff’s Office were quickly on the scene. That’s where they found Fusillo and Cunningham on Quail Ridge Drive in Standish where one of them was trying to gain access to a mailbox. Several parcels of mail were found in the vehicle they were in, intended for residents of Gorham, Buxton and Standish.

Both were taken to the Cumberland County Jail. The Sheriff’s office and the US Postal Service will continue to investigate, and more charges are likely.
