UNION (WGME) — The Union Fair and Maine’s Wild Blueberry Festival have joined the list of cancelled summer events due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“The safety of our volunteers, exhibitors, and general public is our prime concern. In addition, it would be nearly impossible to have an event of this size under the current mandated guidelines,” Union Fair President Ron Hawes said. “We want to thank our volunteers, employees, exhibitors, vendors, sponsors and other supporters of our great Fair and we look forward to a safe and healthy 2021.”

The fair was scheduled for May 30th.
