The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory covering all but downeast Maine until 2:00 Saturday afternoon.  They warn freezing rain might cause slippery travel in the area especially on untreated surfaces before warm air transitions the freezing rain to rain.  The changeover will happen first at the coast and move inland.  Finally tonight temperatures will rise significantly into the 40s and 50s with some rain and wind.  Some scattered power outages are not out of the question.

The good news is next week is expected to be seasonally warn with temps in the 40s most days.
