Water Main Break in Westbrook Near Main St

WESTBROOK, Maine (WGAN)  A water main break in Westbrook will affect traffic for much of Thursday.

Portland Water District crews are in the process of making repairs to a single residential water line near 630 Main Street in Westbrook.

Traffic traveling westbound on Main Street will be detoured onto the Westbrook Arterial and then onto William Clark Drive. Traffic traveling east along Main Street will continue flowing east.

Construction is expected to last until 8:00 p.m. tonight.  Motorists are urged to avoid the area.
