Waterboro Man Charged for Pawning Parents’ Tools


WATERBORO, Maine (WGAN) A Waterboro man has been charged after police say he stole tools from his parents and sold them.

During mid-November, Sheriff’s Deputies were made aware that Noah Jalbert, 20,  from Waterboro had stolen a wood splitter and chainsaw from his parents.

During a subsequent investigation, Noah was interviewed and admitted he had stolen the items and pawned them. Deputies were able to recover the items from the pawn shop and summoned Noah for Theft By Unauthorized Taking class “C”.  The wood splitter is valued at $2300 and the chainsaw is valued at $300.

Noah is scheduled to appear for his arraignment on Jan. 5, 2018 in Alfred Superior Court.
