WESTBROOK, Maine (WGAN)  Westbrook Police are investigating a theft at the Sticker Station on Main Street.

Police say a man went into the business and stole an unknown amount of money.

Police say the male suspect wasn’t armed and ran away on foot.

Police say they’re working to figure out how the man pulled off the robbery so close to police headquarters.

“I’m unsure at this time, it’s an ongoing investigation,” said Sgt. Jason St. John.  “I know that the male entered, no one was injured, no weapon was brandished, but he did leave with an undisclosed amount of money.”

Police did bring in a K-9 to track the suspect, but the search ended after the dog lost their scent.
