Westbrook police search for stabbing suspect

WESTBROOK, Maine (WGAN) Police are searching for the suspect in a stabbing in Westbrook last Friday.

Police say they responded to Cumberland Street around 9:30 that night and found a 57-year-old Westbrook man who had been stabbed multiple times. The victim was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police identified the suspect as 32-year-old Said Mohamud. Mohamud is described as a black male, 6’3, 240 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He goes by the nickname “Cam”.

Police ask anyone with information to give them a call.
