A woman is dead after being hit by a pickup truck in Windham over the weekend.

Police say Deborah Livengood, 74, of Windham was struck by the vehicle as she was walking on Swett Rd. near Route 202 late Sunday morning.

According to CBS 13, the woman succumbed to her injuries on Tuesday.

No charges have been filed against the 16-year-old boy who was driving the truck, but the crash remains under investigation.

Police say speed and alcohol don’t appear to be factors, but driver inattention may have played a role in the crash.
