Woman Dies In Waldoboro Crash

WALDOBORO, Maine (AP) _ Police in Maine say a car was discovered upside down in the Madomak River.

The car was discovered in the river near Route 1 in Waldoboro Sunday morning. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the vehicle.

The driver was identified  as 48 year old Melissa Sawyer of Waldoboro.  She was trapped in the wreck and was pronounced dead at the scene.
