Police investigate death of woman found in Fairfield driveway

Police are investigating what led up to the death of a woman whose body was found at the end of a driveway in Fairfield.

Fairfield police say the woman, identified as 21-year-old Kylee Phillips of Fairfield, was found in a resident’s driveway on Martin Stream Road on Wednesday afternoon. Her body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, where an autopsy was pending.

There’s been no word on a cause of death.

Police say they don’t believe there’s any danger to the public.
