Woman killed after pickup runs stop sign in Brownfield

A crash in Brownfield on Tuesday left one woman dead.

The Oxford County Sheriff’s Office says a pickup ran a stop sign on Depot Road just before 9 a.m., hitting another truck at the intersection with Route 160.

73-year-old Jaqueline Parker of Fryeburg, who was a passenger in the second vehicle, died in the wreck.

The drivers of both vehicles were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.

No charges have been filed, but the crash is still under investigation.
