Woman left injured in ditch after being hit by a car while riding her bike in Belfast

BELFAST (WGME) — A woman riding a bicycle was hit by a car and left injured in a ditch in Belfast on Friday.

Police say the woman was hit on Belmont Avenue. The car then fled the scene, leaving the woman injured.

Belfast Police are asking the public for any information you may have about the car or the operator. Call 207-338-2040.
