York County Sheriffs Office is Looking for Armed Robbery Suspect

The Sheriff’s office in York County is looking for a robbery suspect who is believed to be armed with a knife.

On Thursday night a home invasion occurred in Lyman around 10 p.m.

Police were called and the victim told the authorities that 43-year-old Joshua Tellier entered the home, assaulted the victim, and stole the victim’s vehicle.

Police said that Tellier also forced the victim to open a safe at knifepoint and stole a large amount of money.

Police later found the stolen vehicle at the Amtrak station in Portland.

CBS 13 reports that Tellier is wanted for robbery, domestic violence assault. domestic violence criminal threatening, and theft of a motor vehicle.

Tellier is still on the run and is still believed to be armed with a knife.

Police are asking for help from the public by calling for tips, but they are stressing that Tellier should not be approached.
