The York Police Department teamed up with the York River Landing for Saturday’s fundraiser.

This is the first year for this event but York Police tell us they want to make it an annual event.

Organizers told our CBS13 news partners that they jumped at the opportunity to help because fundraising has been so challenging over the last year and a half because of the pandemic.

All proceeds from the event and ongoing raffle will go directly to Special Olympics of Maine.

If you would like to buy a raffle ticket for one of the jet skis, you can stop by the York County Police Department.

The drawing will take place in October.
