Maine Points: Spirits Place

Danny is joined by Lee Palmer from Spirits Place and Anne Beal
Meow Cat Lounge.

Spirits Place is a non-profit organization in St. Albans, Maine dedicated to caring for feral and community cats, and compassionately sheltering homeless, abandoned, or abused cats in preparation for adoption.

Their founding team has over 40 years of experience successfully managing healthy cat colonies, delivering spay/neuter help with partners, and educating the public to improve knowledge and understanding about the humane, life-saving treatment of cats, in hopes that someday, every cat will be cared for, loved and wanted. They mostly serve communities in Somerset, Piscataquis, and Penobscot counties.

At Meow Lounge, they love their cats and aim to create a safe, fun, and entertaining environment for them to spend time with their visitors, and vice versa. They work with local shelters and all of our cat residents are available for adoption. Their ongoing belief is that there should always be a place where people and animals can relax and celebrate their love for each other.
