CRL was created because of the experience that Tracy had while caring for her own son, Camden. When he was two years old, Camden was diagnosed with a spinal cord tumor. It was unbelievably frustrating that it took six weeks to obtain a special seat in order to bathe him comfortably and safely. This experience made her realize that there are many other Maine families like hers; facing the tremendous emotional and financial stress of caring for a critically ill child, waiting weeks or months for a piece of equipment or a service that should be readily available.
This program focuses on what what Caring Resources For Living does by fulfilling the vital needs of children with life-threatening medical conditions in a timely, effective and creative way

The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary is the civilian component of Coast Guard Forces. Founded in 1939 by an Act of Congress as the US Coast Guard Reserves and re-designated the Auxiliary in 1941. It serves you through boating-safety classes, vessel safety checks, and safety patrols on the water and in the air. Members of the Auxiliary have no law-enforcement powers and issue no permits. The 26,000 volunteer members (men and women) donate thousands of hours in support of Coast Guard missions.
Danny is joined by Peter Poulin, FC and Public Affairs Staff Official Tom Roche with U. S. Coast Guard Auxiliary / Casco Bay Flotilla 2-1.

The Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine has drop in hours two days per week. They have support groups for both men and women. They offer wellness programs, we have comfort items, educational material and we offer creative services such as knitting, drawing/coloring, jewelry making and much more.
They offer all these services free to anyone impacted by cancer. In addition to all these services, the Center can help provide some “Hope, Strength, Courage and Support”.

The basic mission of the Marine Toys for Tots Program is to collect new unwrapped toys and distribute those toys to less fortunate children at Christmas.The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, is an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit public charity which was created at the behest of the U. C.A.P.’s mission is to engage in Cadet Programs, Emergency Services, and Aerospace Education. The cadet program mentors cadets through character development and leadership skills training while teaching discipline, respect, and enabling these teens to become the leaders of tomorrow. I have a great respect for that aspect of the program and take great pride in teaching and training these cadets as well.
This program focuses on the importance of Civil Air Patrol has on our community and how one can volunteer.

Rewind 100.9 ‘s 14th annual Stuff The Bus Food Drive for Preble Street, presented by Bristol Seafood! Chuck Igo speaks with Preble Street.
Now in their 44th year, Preble Street operates three full-time kitchens and a food pantry to aid our fellow Portland-area residents who would otherwise go hungry. This includes families and individuals who may be employed but sometimes have to choose between basic necessities such as paying for housing or being able to provide enough food to meet their needs.
This program focuses on the need for assistance in supporting our Mainers in providing food to our fellow Portland-area residents that are in need.
