Maine Points: Caring Resources For Living

Danny speaks with Tracy Libby, Founder and President of Caring Resources for Living. CRL was created because of the experience that Tracy had while caring for her own son, Camden. When he was two years old, Camden was diagnosed with a spinal cord tumor. It was unbelievably frustrating that it took six weeks to obtain a special seat in order to bathe him comfortably and safely. This experience made her realize that there are many other Maine families like hers; facing the tremendous emotional and financial stress of caring for a critically ill child, waiting weeks or months for a piece of equipment or a service that should be readily available.
