At over 325 acres, Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens is New England’s largest botanical garden. Home to thousands of different types of plants and visited by hundreds of thousands of guests each year, the Gardens is an inclusive place of learning, beauty, and whimsy around every corner. The mission of the Gardens is to inspire meaningful connections among people, plants, and nature through horticulture, education, and research.
Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens is a 501(c)(3) organization. We generate around 50% of our revenue from tickets, retail, and culinary. The remaining 50% comes from donations, memberships, grants, and corporate sponsorships.

Falmouth Fire-EMS responded to a significant water leak at a local nursing facility. Thanks to the quick work of facility staff, 31 residents were safely moved to other areas of the building while crews contained the damage.
