Maine Points: Mary’s Walk

Mary’s Walk began in 1999 as a unique way to recognize and remember Mary Kerry Libby, a much-loved member of the Saco-Biddeford community who passed away from Burkitt’s Lymphoma.

Maine Cancer Foundation was started in 1976 by a group of concerned citizens eager to do more for Maine in the fight against cancer. We lead a state-wide effort to foster and grow the most promising and effective cancer-fighting efforts available to the people of Maine through a combination of grant-based financial support and coalition building.Rewind 100.9 has teamed up with Mary’s Walk and Kerryman 5k for their 22nd year!

This program focuses on how Mary’s Walk & Kerryman 5k benefits the Maine Cancer Foundation in their fight against cancer in the state of Maine.
