Maine Points: The Locker Project

The Locker Project is a non profit organization that works to provide produce and dry goods for food insecure families throughout the greater Portland Area. They supply snacks and dry goods to just about every school that they work with either through their bag programs or on site pantries. Any help they get from community partners will go directly to making sure those resources continue to be available for the next school year.

Through our partnerships with the Good Shepherd Food Bank, three school districts, the Opportunity Alliance, Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Maine, Portland Housing Authority, and other agencies as well as local markets, farmers and gardeners, the Locker Project is able to provide nutritious food to thousands of Greater Portland children to take home and share with their families.
