Warren Knight- Segment 6

In Inside Maine

A few minutes into the closing segment of today’s show, Warren Knight from Smiling Hill farm calls in with a response to Maine Turnpike Executive Director Peter Mills appearance in the previous segment. The Maine Turnpike Authority wants to build a new connector to relieve traffic travelling from South Portland to Gorham, however that would involve using land that Knight’s family has owned since the 1700’s. Knight makes his case for why the MTA should have no authority to do this.
