After several years of virtual or modified events, planning for the 25th Annual Mary’s Walk event is well in progress. The 2.5 mile walk will be held in Saco on March 19, 2023. The Mary’s Walk Committee is thrilled that 25 years later we are still holding this event to honor Mary, and support cancer research and patient initiatives here in Maine.
After pandemic-related disruptions, the Mary’s Walk Committee is planning a full on return to the traditional walk through the streets of Saco, tracing Mary Kerry Libby’s original daily walk route. The companion Kerrymen 5K is being retired due to safety and logistical concerns about holding booth events simultaneously. The Mary’s Walk Committee has chosen to focus on Mary and her original walk route.
Registration is now open and persons signing up before February 14 will be entitled to a free Mary’s Walk 25th Anniversary T-Shirt.
