4-year-old boy reported missing in Windham found dead, police say

A 4-year-old boy reported missing in Windham was found dead Thursday night.

Police say they got a call at about 4:45 p.m. Thursday afternoon about a missing nonverbal little boy on Pope Road. According to CBS 13, game wardens, police officers and firefighters all searched the nearby woods for the boy.

His body was discovered around 7:20 p.m., but police didn’t say where the boy’s body was located or how far from home he was.

Officials have released no information about his cause of death, which will be determined by the medical examiner.
