A search is planned in Hancock County in connection with a missing person case from 2017.

Maine State Police say 47-year-old Russell Burnett of Franklin was reported missing on February 23rd, 2017, near his home on Eastbrook Road.

He’s believed to have left his home on foot accompanied by his dog.

On Saturday, the Maine Warden Service will search the town of Eastbrook, which they’re calling a “routine search of a high probability area.”

Police say there’s no known risk to the public and to not be alarmed by the presence of searchers in the area.
