SOUTH PORTLAND (WGAN) All 35 inmates at a youth correctional facility in South Portland have tested negative for coronavirus, after one inmate tested positive upon release.

The Bangor Daily News reports that universal testing was done for all inmates at Long Creek Youth Development Center, after a female inmate who was being released tested positive last weekend. All inmates have tested negative, and 146 staff members have tested negative as well. Six staff members are still awaiting results.

Elsewhere in Maine, a small outbreak at the Maine Correctional Center in Windham was closed by the Maine CDC after four inmates there tested positive but recovered.
