Attack that left victim with serious injuries in Belfast leads to arrests

An investigation into a robbery and assault in Belfast led to the arrests of two people from Massachusetts.

According to CBS 13 News, police responded to Waldo County Hospital Tuesday morning for a report of a victim with stab wounds. The victim told police he had been robbed at knifepoint and then stabbed multiple times early Monday morning.

The alleged incident happened near a wooded trail and encampment.

The victim suffered serious life-threatening injuries.

The suspects, 20-year-old Justin Wilmot and 19-year-old Isabella Noui, were found in Bangor and taken into custody.
